Yes, all activities are optional.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! We will have guests fill out a survey ahead of time, and the on-site chef can make accommodations as necessary.
What is "glamping?"
A mashup of “glamorous” and “camping,” glamping is a world-wide phenomenon that combines the thrills of camping with the creature comforts of home. At Conestoga Ranch, glamping guests luxuriate in amenities that far surpass those found at conventional campgrounds.
What's the ranch like?
Located on private land overlooking the turquoise-blue waters of Bear Lake, Conestoga Ranch is Utah’s first premier glamping resort. The resort’s accommodations include glamping tents and wagons outfitted with comfortable beds. An array of high-end amenities ensures your family has everything it needs for an unforgettable stay. Besides offering plentiful on-site diversions, Conestoga Ranch is the ideal base camp for exploring the area’s superb lake recreation, hiking trails, ATV trails, and road and mountain-biking routes.
What are the sleeping arrangements like?
The tents and wagons are furnished with real beds and soft, fresh linens. The tents accommodate from two to eight people. Each Grand Tent features an en suite bathroom. Our wagons feature two sets of bunks and a single king or a single king bed. The resort offers Pack ’n Plays for rent to families with infants or toddlers.
What is the bathroom situation?
The Bathhouse is located adjacent to the Main Lodge, and is fully equipped with warm water, rainfall shower head, bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soaps. No need to bring quarters, the bathhouse is free for guests and open 24 hours a day for convenience.
Grand Tents have en suite bathrooms with toilets, sinks, showers and running water.
What should I pack?
Pack as though you were staying at a luxury lakeside resort—because you are. Conestoga Ranch takes care of all your camping needs—tent or wagon set up, comfy beds, campfires, meals and plenty of diversions.
For fitness classes, you'll want comfortable clothing for yoga, morning circuit classes, and antigravity fitness, as well as a swimming suit for paddleboard yoga.
Where is the nearest store?
The resort has an on-site general store, which carries a variety of vacation essentials and conveniences. You’ll find a larger grocery store located right down the street.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel before 60 days prior to your retreat you will receive 75% of the total amount. If you cancel 30-60 days before your retreat you will be refunded 50% of the total amount. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your retreat you will receive 25% of the total amount. A minimum 5% will not be refunded regardless of timeframe in order to cover merchant service fees occurred
Do people normally come on their own?
Yes they do. Most of our guests are looking for a break away from their every-day responsibilities where they can do exactly what they want without having to consider anyone else. A great getaway should become a catalyst for self-discovery, and this self-knowledge can be the best souvenir ever.
How many people come on your retreats?
Most retreats are limited to 40 guests. This allows each guest to receive the personal attention, guidance and adjustments where needed to safely practice during each class.
Do I need to have previous Pilates, Yoga or other exercise experience?
Everyone is welcome and will find growth and success in each class! We are more than capable of clearly explaining the basics while offering advanced options for those that want to go a little deeper. All of our teachers are experienced and can skillfully adapt the classes to meet individual needs. We also offer one-on-one sessions for anyone that is interested in even more personal attention.
What do I need to bring for the classes?
We will provide all of the equipment needed for each class. You are welcome to bring your own mat, if you prefer. We would suggest that you pack clothing that allows you to move freely.
What’s the booking procedure?
Once you are registered for your retreat, you will be emailed an orientation packet. You must submit your signed Payment and Cancellation Agreement, Personal Profile and Participation Agreement and Waiver of Liability and Release Agreement along with any other required documents 60 days prior to your retreat. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and will be subject to our cancellation policy.
