Halley Seim

Halley Seim grew up in Salt Lake City Utah where she spent her childhood engaged in multiple recreational activities including: gymnastics, dance, and competitive figure skating.  She made the high school drill team and dance company her freshman year and then switched to cheerleading her sophomore through senior year where her love of dance and tumbling could come together.  She then moved on to Snow College where she made the drill team.  Shortly after, she married her husband, Nate, and they have three children.

After the birth of her first child, Halley was challenged by a friend to sign up for the Salt Lake half marathon which was way outside the borders of her comfort zone.  Despite the intimidation of the seemingly grueling distance, she trained and finished that race with a newfound passion for running and endurance sports.  She continued to race in half marathons and a full marathon as well as triathlons where she placed in her age group.

Fully engaged in her love of endurance sports she met a new friend while training: Emily Nelson.  Halley and Emily remained friends who enjoyed running.  When Emily launched her revolutionary fitness class know as HIGH fitness, Halley knew she had to be a part of it.  Without a shadow of a doubt, Halley signed up and certified in the very first group of HIGH fitness instructors and began her new journey of sharing and spreading her love for HIGH.

She has now been teaching HIGH fitness since March of 2015, certified as an AFAA group fitness instructor, and has had a hand in helping develop choreography used in every HIGH class.  Her love for HIGH runs deep and she believes its contagious energy, upbeat well known music, and welcoming atmosphere is what sparks the addiction in people and keeps them coming back for more. She truly has a love for every participant that attends her classes and believes she can see their inner potential shining brightly inside them.  Her mission is to promote and inspire inner confidence and bring her participants’ potentials to light through the hardcore fun that is HIGH fitness.
