ANITGRAVITY FITNESS

ANTIGRAVITY FITNESS

*Ifyou are new to AntiGravity Fitness you must take 4 AntiGravity Fundamentals classes or private sessions and get instructors approval prior to attending other formats (except Restore is open to all levels and experience)

AntiGravity® Realign & Unwind

A sequence of stretching and lengthening movements, intended to work lactic acid out of sore muscles. This class is the perfect compliment to your high energy workouts. Bring order and balance back into your body, accessible to all levels. 

 

AntiGravity® Yoga

Take a new approach to your yoga practice by incorporating the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock into your practice. In this class you will use  the hammock as support, giving you the opportunity to move deeper into more intense postures safely.  The hammock will be there to cradle you in gentle postures, allowing you to feel weightless as you reconnect to your breath and intension. We recommend 1-2 Fundamentals first. 

AntiGravity® Restore

A gentle slow paced class, designed to lengthen, stretch and relax every last inch of your body. The Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock is hung low to the ground to gently realign your spine and alleviate pressure from bulged/herniated discs. This technique deeply opens the entire spine, hips and connective tissues of the body. Give yourself the opportunity to soothe your nervous system, turn inward and meditate while floating through space. Accessible to all levels. 

AntiGravity® Aerial Yoga

Explore moving in all directions of open space with the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock as you swing and soar your way to greater health & wellness. Gain strength in your yoga practice as you challenge yourself to stretch further and attempt more difficult positions with the assistance of the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock. 

*Must take 2-3 Fundamental classes first. 

AntiGravity® AIRBarre

AntiGravity® AIRbarre is a fitness technique that transfers dance conditioning and exercises at the ballet barre to the AntiGravity® Hammock. Develop strength, length and grace while realigning the whole body. Ideal for all fitness levels who want to look, feel and move like a dancer! We recommend 1-2 Fundamental classes first. 

AntiGravity® FUNdamentals

FUNdamentals is an introductory AntiGravity® class most suitable for new students and “easy riders,” but open to all. One will become familiar with the Harrison AntiGravity® Hammock and the new sensations associated with inversions and flying, while building knowledge of foundational movements essential to progression in the practice. The movements are broken down incrementally, incorporating zero compression inversions, suspended stretching and FUN! 

AntiGravity® Suspension Fitness

Elevate your workout, burn calories and raise your mood in AntiGravity® Suspension Fitness. Utilize the Harrison hammock as a suspension device for muscular weight resistance, enhance spinal decompression, build core strength, fine tune alignment, and deepen stretches. Give your body a comprehensive total body workout. We recommend taking at 1-2 Fundamentals classes first.

This unique training program focuses on functional fitness targeting core strength and kinesthetic awareness using your own body weight. This exercise program will certainly lead to improvements in total-body strength and power. This multi-layered system is designed for all levels and is guaranteed to challenge your body.

 

AWAKEN CIRCUIT

Awaken Circuit Classes allow members to focus on their individual technique while enjoying the camaraderie and motivation of a class atmosphere. These workouts provide total body, movement-based resistance training delivering strength, cardiovascular, flexibility and balance benefits. Classes will include circuit, interval, strength and endurance training. These classes are sure to leave you stronger, sweaty, smiling,  and all over more alive!

Awaken Barre

High-energy and dynamic, Awaken Barre integrates elements of Pilates, dance, cardio & strength training. Awaken Barre emphasizes the correct biomechanics of movement combined with the power of music to increase strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability. It is a program geared for everyone. Your will be getting not only the safest and most impactful barre program available—you will have fun doing it!

Have you every wanted to dance like no one is watching? Caliente is an empowering escape from ordinary exercise. This class encompasses a soulful quest for the body's need for movement. All with toe-tapping and hip-swaying music. Caliente satisfies your mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical appetite with the freedom to move with great people to great music. If you love to dance or have always wanted to try, Caliente will be THE highlight of your fitness journey.

 

HIGH Fitness

HIGH Fitness is a hardcore fun fitness class that incorporates interval training with music you love and intense easy to follow choreography. It combines FUN (pop songs of old and new that everyone knows and loves) with INTENSITY (interval plyometrics and cardio) with CONSISTENCY (each song has specific simple moves taught the same by all instructors). Together they make a recipe for success, repeat participation and results! HIGH Fitness produces a high caloric burn and full body toning through its carefully formulated choreography that alternates between intense cardio peaks and toning tracks. No better way to describe it than “Body Sculpting Fung” Get Addicted to being fit!


PILATES REFORMER

Group Reformer 

Group Reformer is an upbeat and vigorous workout combining a variety of strengthening and lengthening. The reformer is a piece of equipment on which the client exercises with a moving carriage attached to springs for resistance.  It's a full body workout, where this special equipment can assist those with physical limitations or challenge the most fit individual.  You will build core strength, increase flexibility, coordination, improve posture and create long, lean muscle It's recommended by doctors, chiropractor's, physical therapists, and athletic trainers. * If you are new to Reformer you must take 4 Renew Reformer classes or Private sessions prior to class

JUMPBOARD

Looking for a great cardio workout that increases bone density, power, strength, endurance?  Jump while laying down! In the  Jumpboard Reformer class you are able to do plyometric training with out stressing the joints! Jumpboard is an intense Pilates workout that focuses on interval training.  It involves the STOTT PILATES reformer and is sure to get your heart pumping.  It includes several sets of cardiovascular endurance and also integrates all the specific qualities and benefits of resistance training. In our new studio we will be on a carpet, so no sliding reformers while you jump!! * If you are new to Reformer you must take 4 Renew Reformer classes or Private sessions prior to class

Renew Reformer

Renew Reformer will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed. You will find your body moving more efficiently with greater strength and ease throughout your day after attending class. Renew Reformer focuses on training your muscle firing patterns to reduce injury, correct posture and bio-mechanics. Benefits of regular attendance of Renew Reformer include:

  • strengthening deep stabilizer muscles that will reduce any aches and pains you may currently have
  • lengthen your muscles increasing flexibility and mobility
  • turn on your transverse abdominus (the muscle the gives you a flat stomach and stabilizes your low back)
  • gain stability, greater balance and awareness of your body

Circuit Pilates

Circuit Pilates combines the postural benefits of Pilatesand a more high-energy, fast-paced cardio workout that offers quick results. 

You will get a balanced physique and stunning posture with regular attendance, whatever your current fitness level. * If you are new to Reformer you must take 4 Renew Reformer classes or Private sessions prior to class

Awaken Hot Vinyasa

The music and your breath guide you into the flow in these high energy classes practiced in a heated studio.  In addition to some serious sweating and detoxing, the higher temperatures increase your pulse rate and metabolism causing your body to burn some major calories. These classes often prove to be an emotional experience as well as a physical one.  Learning to connect to your breath and be present on your mat increases your ability to find balance and clarity off your mat, in every day life.

Awaken Vinyasa

Just like Awaken Hot vinyasa, but with out the heat!

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props.  This slow-paced, calming class is healing for both the body and the mind; it can help you recover from illness and injury or overcome depression and anxiety.  Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illness and help you achieve optimal health.

Awaken Basics

A slower paced class that allows for focus on alignment and breath. Great for beginners, but also recommended for the experienced practitioner as a way to reconnect and polish your practice. 

Chair yoga for everyone

 

Classical asana practice from a chair

Chair yoga adapts classical yoga postures to be accessible to everybody everywhere appealing especially to individuals with a limited range of motion making this practice ideal for those recovering from injury or simply living in a seasoned body. This alignment based practice is designed to improve respiratory integrity, strengthen the core, maintain the health and flexibility of the spine, open the hips and settle the mind. There will be 30 minutes of seated asana, 20 minutes of standing practice with many modified options available, followed by seated guided relaxation savasana.

Chair yoga can provide a wealth of physiological and psychological health benefits. The positive benefits of a consistent chair yoga practice include:

• improved balance and depth perception

• increased vital capacity in respiration

• development of kinesthetic and somatic intelligence

• decreased blood pressure

• improved range of motion in joints and musculoskeletal flexibility

• improved immune function

• decreased pain

• decreased levels of anxiety and depression
